PARTS

I have begun the process of trying to write a rough draft of the book. I think that I can pull this off if I just keep at it. I have been thinking about other things to write about and I say this because I don't know if I want to stay with this story. I'm becoming to be uninterested with this story. But, this always happens, and I want to break the cycle. So, I will stick with this story just so I can see what will happen with it.

I have been looking for help with trying to animate this story. I feel that I'm not going to animate the whole story, but when I finish with the whole story and revising it, I think I will only  animate parts of it, and not the whole story, because that would take more than the whole year. I think that I can ask my mom for help with trying to make a book, like a legitimate book because she has gone through the process many times, and I think she has the experience to help me with this. I will be updating this more and more as the year goes on and telling you what is going on with it.

COMPOSING

Okay. I have begun to plan out the format of the book already. I have been looking at formats of books all weekend. I see that a writer's style isn't limited to anything, just that I have to find my own. Also, I have seen how hard it is to plan out a book. My mom is writing her own book and trying to get it published. The publishing process is hard. If this works out successfully, then maybe I could try and get my own book published.

I have already planned out the first chapter. The format will be from two different perspectives, a classic one with the poor girl and the rich boy. I have been excited about this project. I realize that I have total freedom with this, and I will be looking up ways to illustrate it. The possibilities are endless. I have already begun the character planning. This is the first step, but a necessary one.

I was originally going to make mine about learning how to animate, and maybe I will learn about it on the side. That's my real passion, but I also want to incorporate animation with my story. I will write the story, then try and learn how to animate it. My dad knows how to draw really well, and may be able to get me connections with this. I have high hopes with this project. I can't wait to see how this will move along!

STARTING

This will be my first post. I want to become a writer and an illustrator. I love to write and draw, and I think becoming both of them will be fulfilling. The book I will be writing is called Pristine. I hope this project works out because I really love both of these things.
